We are animal cruelty-free, vegan,non-toxic and backed by ophthalmologists, optometrists and beauty aestheticans worldwide.

In our practice, we found our clients suffering from dry, red, scratchy eyes, symptoms of Blepharitis, caused by a build up of bactera, oils, allergens, toxic make up and unsanitised eyelash extensions, amongst others. From lash aesthecians owning a beauty salon, to optometrists owning a clinic, to individuals suffering from eye related concerns, to make up wearers and eyelash lovers we are are committed to providing you with carefully crafted products for bright, beautiful eyes..
The chrissanthie range is safe for contact lens wearers, hypoallergenic and gentle enough for daily us. We are committed to kindness, green beauty and science.
Dr. Chrissie started the company with her good friend Christine Deist who adds her distinct flair in Pharmaceutical skills to the cauldron. The company is about women, by women, and for women in South Africa.
Dr Chrissie Cockinos – CEO
Dr Chrissie received a Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in Biochemistry and Genetics at Wits University. She then went on to do her honours degree in Human Genetics. Medicine was her next achievement and thereafter her passion for ophthalmology took her to private practice for 21 more years mostly at the Donald Gordon Medical Centre and Sandhurst Eye Centre Johannesburg where she was part owner for more than 12 years.
Dr Chrissie was an external examiner for the postgraduate ophthalmology exams at Wits University and also a lecturer and examiner in clinical ophthalmology to final year University of Johannesburg Optometry students. She decided to change directions and head her team at Chrissanthie when she saw the under diagnosis and management of blepharitis in her field. She and her team endeavour to educate the world on good eyelid hygiene which is the first step towards happy healthy eyes.
She is co-founder of Chrissanthie Cosmetics which distributes to 26 countries world wide, has a branch in the USA and also supports the development of the South African economy by manufacturing locally as well as overseas.
Christine Deist – Technical Director
Christine is Technical Director, a Pharmacist by profession, and co-founder of Chrissanthie Cosmetics and the world-famous eye cleanse™ product range.
Christine keeps the technical side of the business running smoothly, and ensures our revolutionary and trade marked formula meets the highest quality standards, including maintaining EU Approval status.
